Our Case for Support

Today, Brock is one of the fastest growing universities in Canada, with an 83 per cent increase in enrolment in just over a decade.  But in order to continue our success and growth, we must take significant steps toward the betterment of our students, faculty and community.  We must not only meet the demands of today, but also prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.

To begin our journey, Brock is launching the biggest and most exciting capital fundraising initiative in our history: The Campaign for a Bold New Brock.

Our goal is to raise $75 million to increase endowments for student financial assistance, to invest in teaching and research facilities, to expand knowledge and to empower our faculty as educator-researchers and innovators.  The generosity of our partners will strengthen our success.

These vital initiatives will reinforce Brock’s role as an innovative Canadian university with strong community leadership and international scope and character.

The Campaign will bring us together with our community, alumni, benefactors and governments at all levels to create an exciting, invaluable asset that will benefit Canadians for generations to come.  Please join us on our journey to build a Bold New Brock, and a bold new future.

 Priority 1:

Enhancing the Student Learning Experience

Today, more than 17,000 full-time students attend Brock. Of these, 1,400 are international students from more than 80 countries. Just as Brock’s size and demographics have changed, so have the needs of the world around us. Canada's evolving economic framework demands a higher level of research-based learning and more postgraduate development opportunities. Learn More

Priority 2:

Improving Our Student Learning Environment

Brock's exceptional growth and success means we've simply outgrown our current facilities, and there is a pressing need for more teaching space and further research capabilities.  Brock's facilities are stretched to beyond capacity; we currently are 3,500 students over capacity if we compared ourselves to the system's average. Priority 3:

Empowering faculty as educators, researchers and innovators

Our University's quality and reputation begin with faculty who stretch academic boundaries and empower students in a supportive environment to develop their own innovative ideas with confidence. Learn More
